ROESTgroep makes shows out of presents. You give them something and they turn it into a show. For MADE IN KWAKKABA, they have collected old, forgotten toys. Dramatist Silke Melis and musician Alec De Bruyn look at them from a new perspective, turn them upside down and inside out, shake them, blow on them and give them new life instead of a home at the rubbish dump. Every unwanted furby, lonely teddy bear or Casio with no batteries gets a second chance to be loved in this show. Along with the audience, they tell a musical story without words about the wonderful journey of a rubber duck.
