A train station is a place of departure. Just look at the signs, you could travel anywhere you want. Your mother checks your luggage, while you’re already getting aboard the train and start looking for the perfect seat. And then, suddenly, it happens! The train conductor blows his whistle. The doors are closing. The train slowly pulls out of the station. On the platform, your mother gives you a last wink. You wave at her. And off you go...
Station brings a suprising combination of music and intriguing tinkering with trains, cables and railroad tracks. Musicians Nicolas Rombouts (Dez Mona) and Joris Caluwaerts (The Go Find, Zita Swoon, ...) are the train drivers. Aarich Jespers (Zita Swoon Group) is the locomotive engineer. Dramatist Adriaan Van Aken (Braakland/ZheBilding) coaches the story.
From 2010 to 2012, predecessor Wagon experienced an amazing success during its tour at home and abroad, igniting the imagination of young and old with their inspiring sound adventure. Successor Station continues the journey. Adventure beckons!
